Truly Great Coffee

Our coffee is sourced directly from farms in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, an area that produces some of the world's finest coffees. Our 100% arabica strictly hard beans are grown at over 5,000 feet above sea level at the foot of the Cuchumatanes mountain range. They are hand-picked at their peak freshness and naturally sun-dried to provide an optimum natural coffee experience.

We take great care in our roasting process to bring you the most flavorful, aromatic coffee possible. We roast only in small batches, less than three pounds at a time allowing for a much more even and controlled roast. Our coffee is roasted locally and we pride ourselves on bringing you consistent perfection with every batch. Once roasted, the beans have citrus, caramel and chocolate tones with just the perfect amount of acidity yielding a perfect cup of coffee for every enthusiast.

Introducing
Pour-over Coffee

taste.

Just as we take great care in the roasting of our coffee, we also aim to provide a unique brewing experience in our shop. We specialize in hand-crafted coffee beverages using pour-over methods to prepare always fresh-brewed coffee for our patrons. This brewing method allows for the barista to control all of the factors that go into preparing a cup of coffee. The hand brew method allows for a slightly hotter brewing temperature, a controlled bloom to prepare the coffee beans for flavor extraction and then a timed brew that will extract all the yummy flavors from the coffee without the bitterness that comes at the end.

Why Sustainable
Coffee Matters

care.

Our coffee is 100% sustainably sourced directly from farms in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This means that not only do we know without a doubt that our beans are 100% single origin, but that the farmers are fairly compensated for their produce. We make yearly trips to the fincas (farms) to observe the harvesting process, taste the coffee beans straight from the plant and maintain relationships with our farmers. Our coffee shop is the Amercian exposition of Huehuetenango coffees and gives the Guatemalan farmers a chance to have their product exhibited on an international scale.
